Wesley Powell's Background and Experience

Over 37 years within NASA

• Experience encompasses flight system development, ground system development, technology development, and organizational management at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC)

• Served as NASA’s Principal Technologist for Avionics within the Space Technology Mission Directorate (STMD)

• Led formulation of a government/industry effort to standardize interoperable spaceflight avionics architectures

• Served as a key contributor to NASA’s High Performance Spaceflight Computing (HPSC) project

• Managed new technology development within the NASA GSFC Electrical Engineering Division
